Advocacy

Members of the Yafa American Community Center regularly participate in advocacy events to raise awareness about the history, identity, and aspirations of the people of South Yemen.  This also provides an opportunity to strengthen partnerships with organizations and individuals interested in promoting stability, self-determination, and informed discussion on the future of the region. ​

Events

​YACC serves as a vibrant social hub for the community. Our initiatives include food and clothing drives for families in need, seasonal food festivals, and bake sales to foster community spirit. We also organize charity events and small bazaars with the help of volunteers to support fundraising efforts.

Festivals

​At Yafa American Community Center, we believe in preserving tradition. Our community celebrations bring families together to enjoy music, dance, food, games, and fellowship. Festivals include Eid holiday celebrations, some of our most popular events, with thousands of attendees participating annually. 

Sports

​Yafa American Community Center offers a dynamic sports program throughout the year. Participants play soccer, volleyball, American football, and more. We also organize an annual soccer tournament that is open to everyone. Our sports program fosters a sense of community, connection, and inclusivity. Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome.
